Chainstitch & Chenille Embroidery Patches
These patches are custom made for each order using hand controlled 100+ year old embroidery machines, not computers.
Chainstitch Patches
Chainstitch is a vintage embroidery technique in which a series of interconnected stitches are sewn to form a chain-like pattern. These stitches are used to draw designs on fabric, essentially tattooing the garments. This style is most often seen on vintage bowling shirts, western wear, work clothes and motorcycle jackets.
All chainstitch in my studio is performed on collection 100+ year old hand guided machines, never on a computerized machine. You can see more about the machines here.
Patch Attachment to garments:
I secure my patches with a permanent zig-zag stitch, but chainstitch, satin stitch and straight stitch also available.
Project Minimum $400

Chenille Patches
Chenille is an embroidery technique in which a series of raised loops stand on top of the material's surface in tight groups to form patterns. These stitches are used to draw designs on fabric, essentially tattooing the garments. This style is most often seen on varsity jackers and sportwear.
All chenille in my studio is performed on collection 100+ year old hand guided machines, never on a computerized machine. You can see more about the machines here.
